Man Ambushed By Robbers In Herndon: Police

HERNDON, VA -- A man who was walking home in Herndon recently was ambushed by robbers, police say.

The victim was walking in the 600 block of Center Street at around 11 p.m. on Sept. 6 when he was approached by several suspects, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

"The suspects assaulted him and robbed him of his identification, a cell phone charger, and an undisclosed amount of cash," the report states. "The investigation is ongoing."
