Man Attacked In Herndon Over His Shoes: Police
The man was walking on Merrybrook Drive when he was confronted by two men.

HERNDON, VA -- Police are searching for two suspects who asked a man about his shoes, and then attacked him and tried to steal the shoes, police say.
The victim was walking in the 2400 block of Merrybrook Drive at around 4 p.m. on April 24 when he was approached by two men who asked about his shoes, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"The victim ignored the men and continued to walk away when one of the suspects knocked him to the ground," the report states. "The suspects assaulted the victim and tried to take his shoes but were unsuccessful. The victim sustained minor injuries."

The suspects were describes as black men, one of them being 5'8" and 135 pounds wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. There was no description of the other suspect.
