Man Enters Herndon Home Uninvited, Assaults Occupant: Police Report

HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police charged 43-year-old Gary Lorenzo Parks of Herndon, with aggravated assault and burglary, according to the weekly police report.

Police say that Parks entered a home in the 600 block of Center Street without permission on May 23 and assaulted one of it occupants.

Parks was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was held without bond.

Herndon Police are also investigating a burglary that occurred on Sunday in the 1100 block of Elden Street.

The victim was sleeping behind a business there, when someone approached him, pointed a handgun and demanded money, according to the police report.
