Man Grabs $20 From Woman's Purse, Leaves Purse: Herndon Police

HERNDON, VA -- A man grabbed a woman's purse in Herndon, took $20 in cash out of it, and then left it on the ground.

The incident happened May 3 near the intersection of Worldgate Drive and Alton Square, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

The suspect fled, and the victim declined to pursue criminal charges, police say.
