Marijuana Dealer Busted In Herndon: Police

Police were responding to a separate call when they happened upon the suspect, according to a report.

HERNDON, VA -- Police arrested a man they say was dealing marijuana in Herndon after responding to another call at an apartment in the area.

Police were called to the 13600 block of Legacy Circle in south Herndon at around 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 17 to an "unknown situation/call for help," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

"Once there, they made contact with the caller," the report states. "While checking on the welfare of the caller, illegal narcotics were observed as well as drug paraphernalia."

Police arrested 25-year-old David Michael Barrientos of South Riding, who was charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana.
