Mysterious Woman Visits Herndon Home: Police
Police are investigating a strange incident that happened in a Herndon neighborhood late last week.
HERNDON, VA — An odd incident in a Herndon neighborhood has police looking for a woman.
A homeowner in the 13400 block of Parcher Avenue found an "unknown woman" inside her garage knocking on her door at around 10:52 a.m. on Aug. 8, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"She was looking for a woman who did not live at the house," the report states. "The suspect was told no one else lived at the house and left the garage into the backyard."

The woman eventually took off running, and was last seen headed westbound on Parcher Avenue, the report adds. She was never located by police officers who responded.
Police described her as blonde, 5'5" to 5'8", and wearing a white shirt and blue pants.
