New Beauty Shop Arrives in Herndon

A Reston resident has opened up a new beauty salon in Herndon.

Cirque Salon Studios has announced the opening of Beauty by Marina at 384 Elden Street, owned by Marina Sizova, a licensed makeup artist who lives in Reston and originally hails from Ukraine, according to a statement.

Sizova launched her business in 2012 and has worked with cosmetic companies like MAC, NARS and Bobbi Brown.

"An experienced makeup artist, Sizova has hundreds of bridal, commercial, editorial and television makeup sessions under her belt," the statement reads. "She recently completed world-class training with American Masters in the European Eyebrow Microblading Embroidery Technique. She is also PhiBrows certified by leading artist Branko Babic, and is the first PhiBrows certified artist in Virginia. She currently holds a Virginia Permanent Makeup License, is certified in CPR/First Aid, and is an active member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP)."

Beau Schweikert, who is the owner of Cirque Salon Studios -- a collection of independent health and beauty shops -- said that the company is "thrilled to welcome Marina and her clients to our Herndon location."
