New Restaurant Opens In Downtown Herndon: Report

HERNDON, VA -- Attention, lovers of Japanese and Korean food: a new restaurant has opened in downtown Herndon.

Connection Newspapers reports that Red Kimono Japanese & Korean Cuisine hosted a Grand Opening Day buffet on Jan. 26 and officially opened to the public Jan. 27 at 790 Station Street.

The restaurant specializes in sushi, prepared by chefs Dongsoo Kim and Zhen Chen.

The owner, Yeong Chea, had other restaurants in Boston before deciding to relocate to Herndon, according to the report.
