Builder Of Brightview Innovation Center In Herndon Hires New NoVA Market Leader

HERNDON, VA — Chris Sowick was recently hired as the new executive vice president and Virginia market leader for Donohoe Real Estate Services.

In this role, Sowick will manage the company's owner and tenant advisory services, as well as be responsible for Donohoe's growth strategies an initiatives in Northern Virginia.

“I have always been impressed with Chris and his leadership skills since our days at Trammell Crow," said Drew Genova, president of Donohoe Real Estate Services, in a release. "Chris will help us focus on serving our clients throughout the Northern Virginia market."

Donohoe Real Estate Services is one arm of the larger The Donohoe Companies, Inc. which includes the following additional divisions: Donohoe Construction Company, Donohoe Development Company, Donohoe Hospitality, and Complete Buildings Services (Facilities Management). Donohoe Development and Donohoe Construction have been involved in real estate development and construction projects across the Washington, D.C. region for years. The company is currently constructing the Brightview Innovation Center at 13700 Magna Way in Herndon.

Prior to coming to Donohoe, Sowick served as executive director of Cushman & Wakefield's Northern Virginia office for 15 years and was the senior team member at the Trammell Crow Company for five years before that. He's also been named multiple times a Top Ten Leasing Broker in Northern Virginia by Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association.
