Officers Catch People Ransacking Vehicles In Herndon: Police
Police say they recovered $1,200 in stolen property.

HERNDON, VA -- Police caught two people ransacking vehicles in Herndon recently, and say they were able to recover hundreds of dollars in stolen property.
Officers observed suspects "looking through a vehicle" in the 1200 block of Wilshire Drive on Feb. 22 after getting a report of two suspects entering unlocked vehicles, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.
Police arrested 20-year-old Bryan Vasquez-Cherino of Herndon on a charge of vehicle tampering, and then arrested a 17-year-old who initially fled but was "caught after a brief foot chase," according to the report.
