Out-Of-Control Herndon Driver Arrested With Weed, Concealed Weapon: Police

Police say he was seen driving recklessly and then found with a flat tire on the side of the road in Chantilly.

CHANTILLY, VA — A Herndon man is facing a litany of charges after he was spotted driving recklessly in Chantilly and then found with weed and a weapon on him.

Police were called to the 27000 block of Gum Spring Road at around 7:44 p.m. on Aug. 26 to a report of a vehicle driving recklessly in the area, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Police located 26-year-old Daniel J. Lee on the side of the roadway with a flat tire, the report states.

He faces charges of driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a concealed weapon.

He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
