Paint Herndon Painting Competition

The competition is open to all artists. There are three competitive divisions, each with their own cash prizes.

Paint Herndon is a celebration of the arts and the anniversary of the opening of ArtSpace Herndon. This year’s competition is on Saturday, September 20, 2014. The cornerstone of the event is the Painting Competition which is designed in the spirit of a “day painting” competition and challenges artists to create works of art in a short period of time. The competition is open to all artists. There are three competitive divisions, each with their own cash prizes. visit www.artspaceherndon.org for complete information and to register.

Adult Competition

Awards and Prizes
Old Town Herndon Award – $300
First Place – $300
Second Place – $200
Third Place – $100

The Adult Competition is open to all adults and teens ages 16 and older. The entry fee for up to 3 entries is $20 in advance and $25 on day of canvas stamping. Framing is required.

Other Honors and Awards

The Teen Competition is open to all students ages 12 – 17. Older teens may choose either the Adult or Teen division. The entry fee for up to 3 entries is $10 in advance and $15 on day of canvas stamping. Framing is optional.
