Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle Remains In Critical Condition
A vehicle struck a pedestrian Saturday night on Elden Street in Herndon.

HERNDON, VA — As of Tuesday morning, a pedestrian remains in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night on Elden Street, according to a Herndon Police Department spokeswoman.
Around 9 p.m., a vehicle struck the pedestrian in the 300 block of Elden Street, according to Lisa Herndon, HPD's public information officer. The pedestrian was taken to Reston Hospital with critical but not life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the striking vehicle remained on the scene, while detectives conducted an accident investigation. No charges have been filed against the driver, according to Herndon.
