Police Charge Karate Instructor With Sexual Assault

A karate instructor at a Herndon studio has been charged with sexual assault, according to the Fairfax County police.

Detectives with the police department’s Major Crimes unit arrested Han I. Tak, 30, of Reston, on Wednesday afternoon, the police said. He was charged with taking indecent liberties with a minor.

Tak, an instructor at Fox Mill Tae Kwon Do in Herndon, was charged “for allegedly inappropriately touching a juvenile karate student,” the police said in a statement.
