Police: Man With Knife Threatens Trash Truck Drivers, Damages Truck
Suspect charged with assault and destruction of property, according to Fairfax County Police.

A Herndon area man is facing charges after allegedly threatening trash collection employees and damaging a disposal truck in a Monday morning incident, according to Fairfax County Police.
Officers responded at 9:45 a.m. to the area of Tewksbury Drive and Unicorn Court in the Reston police district.

Two disposal delivery employees were approached by a man who displayed a knife. The man caused unspecified damage to the tuck and fled on foot.
He was located by officers and taken into custody. Todd E. Jones, 40, of Herndon, is charged with assault and destruction of property.
