Police Search For Missing Herndon Man
Herndon Police are asking the public's help in locating a Herndon man whose family reported him missing after several days.

HERNDON, VA — A Town of Herndon family contacted the Herndon Police Department on May 27 about a missing family member, according to the weekly crime report.
The family told police that Joshua Bowman, 27, of Herndon had been missing for several days from their home in the 700 block of Barbaralynn Place. Police describe Bowman as a black male, standing 5-foot-10 and weighing approximately 170 pounds. Anyone with information about Bowman's whereabouts is asked to call HPD at 703-435-6486.

HPD is investigating a commercial burglary that took place last Friday at a business in the 600 block of Grant Street, according to the weekly crime report.
When employees arrived at work, they found the front glass door of the business had been smashed with a hard object. A search of the business revealed that an undisclosed amount of money and property had been stolen. This case remains under investigation.

During the week of May 25-31, Town of Herndon officers issued 94 traffic summons, including one for driving while intoxicated, 15 for driving with no operators license, and one for driving on a suspended license, and
There were four reportable traffic accidents in Herndon last week. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
