Police: Two Local Businesses Robbed Last Week
In both heists, the lone suspect wore a mask, say Fairfax County police.

The Fairfax County police are investigating a pair of robberies last week on Centreville Road south of Herndon.
In both cases, a man wearing a mask walked into a business, displayed a handgun, damanded money and fled with cash. The victims did not require medical attention.

The first robbery took place at about 12:23 a.m. Friday in the 2900 block of Centreville Road. The suspect was wearing a mask and gloves, according to a police report.
The second robbery occurred at about 11 p.m. Friday in the 2400 block of Centreville Road. The suspect is described by the police as 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, and wearing a ski mask, dark clothing and boots.
