Police: Victim Injured in Robbery That Failed
Three suspects in Friday assault are at large, say Herndon police.

The Herndon police are looking for three suspects who beat up and tried to rob an unidentified victim Friday on a neighborhood street.
The assault took place on Alabama Drive and Florida Avenue, according to a police report. The victim told town police that three males tried to take unidentified property from him, but were unsuccessful. During the incident, he sustained several non-life threatening lacerations.

The victim said the first suspect was a black male, 6 feet in height, with a thin build and dreadlocks, wearing a white T-shirt and khaki cargo pants.
The other two suspects were described as Hispanic males, both 5 feet 7 inches tall. One has a medium build, with long brown hair, and was wearing a white shirt and jeans. The other suspect had a thin build and brown mullet-style hair.
