HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police are investigating a robbery that took place early Saturday morning on Elden Street, according to the weekly crime report.

Shortly after midnight, the victim was sitting in his vehicle in the 1200 block of Elden Street, when he was approached by the suspect, who demanded his wallet. This case remains under investigation.

Between Sept. 14-20, Town of Herndon police officers issued 50 traffic summons, including three for driving while intoxicated, 12 for driving with no operator's license, and two for driving on a suspended or revoked license.

There were 10 reportable traffic accidents in Herndon. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
