Man Robbed At Gunpoint In Herndon Area: Police

RESTON, VA -- Fairfax County Police from the Reston District Station are investigating an armed robbery that took place Thursday in the 13400 block of Coppermine Road in the Herndon area of Fairfax County, according to a police release.

On Jan. 9, around 4:29 p.m., the victim was approached by a man who showed a handgun. The man stole the victim's personal property and then left the scene in a black Chevrolet Tahoe.

Police say the suspect was Hispanic, 5-foot-9-inches tall, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
