Shapes Salon to Host Cut-a-Thon Fundraiser for NY Blast Survivor

Get a haircut for a cause at Shapes Salon and Day Spa, 2435 Centreville Road on Monday, October 10. Shapes is holding a fundraiser for Connor Golden, a 2015 Oakton High School graduate who stepped on explosive material in New York’s Central Park on July 3, causing his leg to be amputated just below the knee.

Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Shapes will be offering special pricing on haircuts and waxing service. (Cash or check only please.)

Also stop by anytime until October 10 to purchase a $5 raffle ticket to win a skin and hair care gift basket or gift card to Rubino’s Pizzeria, Sorrento Grill, Ned Devine’s or Stone’s Cove Kit Bar. All purchases help Connor, who continues to make positive strides in his rehabilitation.
