Sports Update for Herndon High Fall Teams

Provided, Herndon High School:

Field Hockey

Our Field Hockey team is currently ranked #6 in the Washington Post. They are 7-0 and won the Herndon Invitational this past weekend. They play at South County on Tuesday and home against Yorktown on Thursday

Football

The Football team won their opener at Mt. Vernon on Friday night 46-27. They will host West Springfield in their home opener this Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

Volleyball

The Volleyball team travels to Yorktown on Tuesday and will host Lee this Thursday night at 7:15 p.m.

Golf

The Golf team travels to Westfield’s Golf Course for a match today and they host a match tomorrow at Herndon Centennial

Cross Country

Cross Country does not have a meet until Sept. 17 when they travel to Lake Fairfax
