Sterling Man Charged In Robbery At Herndon Business: Police

HERNDON, VA — Herndon Police Department arrested a Sterling man in connection with the Dec. 2 robbery at a business in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive, according to the weekly crime report.

HPD arrest 28-year-old Williams Escobar Cruz and charged him with robbery and larceny. He is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

Between Feb. 1 and Feb. 7, Town of Herndon police officers issued 85 traffic summonses, including one for driving while intoxicated, four for driving with no operator's license, and three for driving on a suspended or revoked license.

There were six reportable traffic accidents in Herndon. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
