Summer Heat Coming to Herndon Already?
A couple of days this week will be downright hot, but spring won't leave us that quickly.
HERNDON, VA — We've barely gotten out of the bitter cold here in Herndon, and now already temperatures are going to be soaring into the 80s this week. But don't worry, spring temperatures aren't going to be absent for long.
Temperatures are projected to jump into the low 80s on Monday and Tuesday this week, and then soar into the mid-80s on Sunday, bringing summer-like temperatures just days after a cold front made it feel like we were back in January again.
But for the most part, it's going to feel like spring for the rest of the month. Weather.com projects that temperatures should dip into the 70s on Wednesday as some showers roll in, and hover in the 60s for the rest of the week before Sunday's heat wave.
