Tag Day and Veterans Day Concert at Herndon High School
The Pride of Herndon invites all to attend the Tag Day/Veterans Day Concert on November 7

The Herndon High School Band invites all to their free annual Tag Day / Veterans Day concert to thank the Herndon and Reston communities for their support. This concert will feature various selections performed by the concert bands as well the Pride of Herndon Marching Band performing their half time show music, a Franco-American tribute entitled “Red, White & Bleu.”
The band will be celebrating and recognizing members of the American military with a number of patriotic songs with a particular focus on World War II. This event is on Wednesday, November 7 at 7:00 pm at Herndon High School and promises to be a wonderful evening of family entertainment.
In keeping with the band's upcoming trip to Normandy, France where they will perform in honor of veterans at the D-Day 75th Anniversary Ceremonies, this year's event will include a very special attraction for our community - a display of historical artifacts that have been donated to the Herndon Historical Society by families of veterans of the USS Herndon, the lead ship of the Allied armada on D-Day. There will also be a talk on the same by Margaret Jamborsky, a local specialist on USS Herndon history.
