The theme of this year's event will be "Difficult Conversations."
"Not all of the Talks will relate directly to this theme, but you can expect to hear ideas related to how we communicate, how we collaborate, and how we think about the future," the site adds. "This is our 3rd year hosting TEDxHerndon, and we have gotten better every year. This year promises to be the best TEDxHerndon yet. This is an exciting community event for people in Northern Virginia, but we welcome anyone from anywhere to join us."
