Thanksgiving Snow In Herndon? Shocking Forecast From The Farmer's Almanac

We might not have a White Christmas, but the Farmer's Almanac is projecting Herndon to get a white Thanksgiving.

HERNDON, VA -- No weather forecaster can reliably see more than a week out, but the Farmer's Almanac is making an interesting prediction for Herndon next month: snow, for Thanksgiving.

You read right: even though temperatures continue to make it feel like spring in late October, a sudden dip in temperatures late in November could result in snow in time for Turkey Day in Herndon.

Specifically, the Farmer's Almanac forecast calls for heavy rain between Nov. 1-7, sunny and cold conditions Nov. 8-11, rain and snow flurries Nov. 12-17, rain and flurries Nov. 18-22, and then "snow, then sunny, mild" for Nov. 23-26.
