
By popular demand The Greater Herndon Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #64 is bringing back our Poker Run on Saturday, September 21st. Lodge #64 is 501(c)8 local charitable organization committed to assisting those in need right here in our community.
The Poker Run honors Sgt. Phil Farley, a decorated member of the Herndon Police Department. The event starts at 8:00 am with a continental style breakfast at the Herndon Department of Public Works located behind the old Herndon Police Station at 1479 Sterling Road. The first bike out will be 8:30 am with the last bike out by 9:00 am. The participants will travel 95 miles making stops in Gainesville, Marshall, Winchester, Upperville and Middleburg before they finish back in Herndon where the day will conclude with lunch and the awards ceremony with members of Lodge #64. The first bike will go out at 8:30 am with the last bike out by 9:00 am.
The cost is only $20 per rider and $10 per ride-a-long if you register before September 9th ($25 and $15 after that) and each participant will get breakfast, lunch and a commemorative T-Shirt.
