These Upcoming Days Will Be Insanely Warm in Herndon
Leave the jacket at home these next couple weeks, because you won't need it.
HERNDON, VA — It sure doesn't feel like February out there, does it? Dulles Airport hit 77 degrees on Thursday, blowing away the previous record of 73 in 1985. And we've got a few very warm days coming up soon here in Herndon.
If you love these temperatures, you're going to love the 10-day forecast for the area. On Friday we'll see similar highs, hitting the mid-70s once again, and the temperatures will stay in the high 60s on Saturday, although a lot of rain in the forecast will ruin any plans you have for hanging out in the sun.
It's actually going to be a pretty chilly Sunday, topping out around 50 degrees and possibly lower.

But don't worry, we're not done with temperatures in the 60s yet. Those days will return on Tuesday and Wednesday before dropping back into the 50s.
After that things should cool off in early March, and temperatures will get quite low in the evenings, dropping just below freezing on a few occasions. There's even a possibility of snow on March 10.
