Thief Steals Credit Cards, Goes On Herndon Spending Spree: Police

ASHBURN, VA -- Always lock your car doors, particularly if you have something of value inside.

Someone in Ashburn is learning that lesson the hard way after a thief entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and made off with credit cards, using them to go on a spending spree in Herndon, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The vehicle was located in the 43000 block of Dowington Court, sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

Police are still searching for a suspect.
