Town To Show Off Big Trucks

The Town of Herndon’s Department of Public Works will host its annual “Big Truck Days,” an opportunity for children – and their parents – to see the town’s big trucks and heavy equipment on display. Light refreshments will be served and souvenirs will be provided to children.

Big Truck Days will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 7, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, May 8, at the Public Works Maintenance Complex, 1479 Sterling Road.

The event is free; however, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for the needy. Large groups should call ahead.
