Traffic Accident In Herndon Leads To Armed Robbery: Police
After a minor traffic accident, one driver pulled a gun on the other, police say.
HERNDON, VA -- Police are searching for a suspect after a driver pulled a gun on another driver following a traffic accident in Herndon over the weekend and robbed him of his belongings.
The accident happened at the intersection of Fairfax County Parkway and West Ox Road at around 3:32 p.m. on May 19, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"Both vehicles pulled over, and the passenger of the second vehicle exited his car, displayed a firearm at the victim, and then reached inside the victim’s car and took his phone and dashboard camera," the report states.

The suspect fled the scene. Police are still investigating.
