Motorists can expect lane closures on both Route 7 and Georgetown Pike in the area between 9 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday.
The shift is needed to allow the next phase of construction to proceed for the project to widen Route 7 from four to six lanes between Reston Avenue and Rolling Holly Drive. The $34 million project is scheduled for completion in December.
