Overturned Vehicle Blocks Traffic Temporarily In Herndon: Police
An overturned vehicle blocked traffic temporarily at the intersection of Van Buren and Monroe/Grove streets in Herndon on Thursday morning.

HERNDON, VA — Town of Herndon Police were on the scene of a two-vehicle crash with an overturned vehicle around 9:45 a.m. on Thursday near the intersection of Van Buren and Grove/Monroe streets.
One of the people involved in the crash was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to Lisa Herndon, an HPD spokeswoman.
Initially, traffic was stopped on all three roads, but by 10 a.m. a single lane of traffic on northbound Van Buren was getting by, with southbound Van Buren and Grove/Monroe streets still blocked.

Shortly before 11 a.m., the crash scene was cleared and all lanes of traffic had reopened, according to Herndon.
