Viewfinder: Frying Pan Acoustic Jam

Every first and third Sunday form 1 to 4 p.m.the Frying Pan Farm Park store fills with people playing acoustic instruments and bluegrass music.

The jam is open to anyone—musicians and audience members—who can join the fun, request a song, listen in or go play on the nearby playground while enjoying great music. Musicians have been gathering to play bluegrass at Frying Pan for about a decade. They welcome anyone from beginningers to pros, from the young to the old.

If it's too cold or raining outside they play in the general store. When the weather is nice you can find several groups of people playing throughout the park. When Patch shot photos last Sunday the group started in the store and eventually another group gathered on the porch of the store.
