1,800 Dominion Energy Customers Were Without Electricity To Downed Power Line

Dominion Energy is on the scene of a downed power line on the W&OD Trail in Herndon.

HERNDON, VA — Dominion Energy reported that 1,877 customers were without power Thursday afternoon due to a downed power line.

Dominion crews were on the scene of the downed power line, which was blocking the W&OD Trail between Herndon Parkway and Van Buren Street, according to a 3:30 p.m. post on the Herndon Police Department's official Twitter account.

Dominion Power estimated that power would be restored between 5-8 p.m.
