FRIDAY

• Free Basketball Clinic - A free basketball clinic will be held for children ages 5-8 at Herndon Middle School at 6 p.m. Friday. 

• Red Cross Blood Drive - US Geological Survey in Reston is hosting a blood drive from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 

SATURDAY

• Refresh Rwanda: Water for Life 5K - The Refresh Rwanda 5K will take place at South Lakes High School in Reston at 7:30 a.m. 

• FCCPAAA Holiday Bazaar and Coat Drive - The holiday bazaar and coat drive, hosted by the Fairfax County Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, begins at 10 a.m. at RCC Lake Anne. 

• Southview Community Day - Southview Community Church is holding an alternative gift market, craft fair, free community shred, food, fun and more. 

• Nearly Naked Mile - The Nearly Naked Mile will feature a DJ before and after th run around Reston Town Center and pizza from Naked Pizza. 

• George Mason University Flute Choir - The GMU Flute Choir will hold a concert and reception at Herndon United Methodist Church Saturday evening. 

• Expressions Portrait Competition Artist Reception - The artist reception and awards for the annual ArtSpace Expressions Portrait Competition takes place Saturday night and is free. 

SUNDAY

• Creative Movement for Kids & Teens - Dodgeball Theater is beginning a session of creative movement and choreography classes for kids and teens starting this weekend.
