Windows Shot Out at Two Herndon Buildings
Police received calls about both incidents on Sept. 2, but have not confirmed or denied if they are related.

Herndon Police have reported the windows of two local buildings were shattered last week, and investigators have determined the windows were shot out in both cases.
Police received calls about both incidents on Wednesday, Sept. 2, but have not confirmed or denied whether these cases are related.
One building, located on the 200 block of Van Buren Street, reportedly endured damage to three windows. Upon responding to the scene, police found approximately 14 small holes in the side of this building that appeared to be bullet holes.

Three of the holes were in separate windows and the rest of the holes were in the metal sheeting surrounding the window.
The other building, located on the 1200 block of Elden Street, suffered a greater number of shattered windows, and once again investigating officers determined the windows had been shot out.

Both cases remain under investigation at time of publication.
