Wizards And Muggles Apparate For Harry Potter Trivia Night In Herndon

Town of Herndon Parks & Recreation hosted a trivia night on Friday to test the knowledge of Harry Potter fans, east pizza and win prizes.

HERNDON, VA — More than 90 "Potterheads" converged on the Herndon Community Center on Friday to take part in the Harry Potter Trivia Night hosted by the Town of Herndon Parks & Recreation Department.

Wizards and muggles of all ages tested their Potter-knowledge by answering questions based on the eight Harry Potter films and not the books. Participants also enjoyed pizza and snacks.

Prizes for the event included such Harry Potter fare as Butterbeer and Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans. Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern, the event's sponsor, provided the top prize of a $100 gift certificate.
