Woman Grabbed While Getting The Mail In Herndon: Police

HERNDON, VA -- A woman who was getting her mail in Herndon was suddenly grabbed by a strange man, prompting her to scream, police say.

The incident happened April 2 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue. The man ran off after she screamed, leaving in a red truck, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.

Police described the man as either Middle Eastern or Hispanic with a short beard and curly black hair. He was wearing a gray jacket, black shirt, and brown sandals at the time.
