Woman's Body Found Near Herndon-Area Parking Garage: Media Reports
Fairfax County police are investigating the scene, but release few details.

The Fairfax County police are investigating the scene where a woman’s body was found this morning near a parking garage south of the Reston Toll Road, according to media reports.
The site is in the 2300 block of Dulles Station Boulevard, off Sunrise Valley Drive in the Herndon area, according to the Washington Post and several local TV stations.

The police did not release information Tuesday morning on the woman’s identity or how the body was discovered.
The police are also investigating the discovery of another body Monday night in the Mount Vernon area of Fairfax County. They responded at about 8:30 p.m. after a man walking in the woods near the 4800 block of Manor Drive came across a body in an advanced state of decomposition.

In that case, the remains are believed to be male. They were transported to the Office of the Medical Examiner, who will make a determination on cause and manner of death.
