Worldgate Area Home Burglarized: Police Report

HERNDON, VA — Officers from the Herndon Police Department are investigating a burglary that took place Sunday at a residence in the Worldgate area, according to the weekly crime report.

Sometime during the afternoon hours, an unknown number of suspects entered a home in the 600 block of Eric Court and stole an undisclosed amount of property. This case remains under investigation.

Between Aug. 24-30, Town of Herndon officers issued 73 traffic summons, including three for driving while intoxicated and 13 for driving with no operator's license.

There were seven reportable traffic accidents in Herndon. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
