Worldgate Sport&Health and Blue Chip Tennis Academy Join Forces
Worldgate Sport&Health grow their tennis program with Blue Chip Tennis Academy
Sport&Health is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Blue Chip Sports Management to run the tennis program at Worldgate Sport&Health in Herndon, Virginia. Worldgate is a premier tennis, fitness and spa destination with the mission of delivering the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every time.
Blue Chip Founder and Executive Tennis Director, Tim Bainton, is a two-time USTA Teaching Professional of the Year who is certified at the highest levels. A USTA Regional Training and High Performance Coach and director of a USTA Competition Training Center, Bainton has been zonal, intersectional, national and Nike Junior Tour coach for the Mid-Atlantic and has also coached with the USTA HPCE at the Davis Cup and the US Open. The four entities under Blue Chip Sports Management (tennis academy, foundation, alliance and consulting) were created to increase enthusiasm for the sport and to help save the game of tennis. Blue Chip Sports Management now manages over 50+ courts throughout Northern Virginia.

“Blue Chip continues to grow in the Mid-Atlantic and partnering with Sport&Health is both an honor and a logical step for both sides. We look forward to a long and successful relationship that improves tennis playing opportunities and programming in the region,” says Bainton.
Bainton joins forces with Worldgate’s Site Director Jason Wnuk who has recently joined the Blue Chip team. Jason has managed a variety of tennis programs over the past 15 years at Sport&Health. He is a top ranked junior from the New England tennis area, played Division 1 college tennis for George Mason, is a USPTA pro, and coordinator of the junior team tennis league and active with the USTA leagues. He has successfully coached adult teams/players as well as junior teams/players (ranked and un-ranked) to regional and sectional USTA championships.
