Young Child Dies On School Bus In Herndon: Police
Police say the boy had a medical emergency and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

HERNDON, VA -- A young boy died on a school bus in Herndon Thursday after having a medical emergency, police say.
The incident happened on a Fairfax County Public Schools bus in the 2300 block of Dulles Station Blvd, Fairfax County Police tweeted at 4:53 p.m.
"Fire & Rescue responded & performed lifesaving measures," police said. "The boy was pronounced dead at the hospital. No other kids were on the bus."

There were no further details immediately available Friday evening.
