Burglar in Lake Ridge, in Neighborhood close to Hedges Run

On Sunday, Prince William County police responded to a burglary at the 11800  block of Critton Pl in Lake Ridge, in a neighborhood complex located off of Hedges Run.

Police arrived at the scene at around 10:45 p.m. to discover a tampered sliding glass door that served as the burglar's entry. The homeowner reported that she came home and discovered not only the tampered door, but movement in the basement, which prompted her to call police.

Further investigation revealed that about $200 worth of clothing was stolen; nothing else was reported damaged or missing and the homeowner did not report any injuries.
