CONNtexture: Works in Watercolor and Collage by Deborah Conn

Tuesday, May 8 - Sunday, June 3, 2012

Meet-The-Artist Reception
Saturday, May 12, 1-4 p.m.

Deborah Conn adds texture and depth to her figurative paintings using hand colored and marbled papers. The use of collage represents a departure from her more traditional watercolor portraits and figures. "Collage has freed me somewhat from my source material," she says, "allowing me to introduce less literal and more dramatic elements into my work."
