
A movie based on the D.C.-area sniper attacks of 2002 is set to be released in theaters next month.
The film’s name is a reference to the blue 1990 Chevrolet Caprice sedan that convicted shooters John Allen Muhammad and John Lee Malvo used during the attacks.
Isaiah Washington plays Muhammad and Tequan Richmond plays John Lee Malvo, according to the film’s official website.

The film’s synopsis from producers described the movie as a “harrowing yet restrained psychological thriller about an abandoned boy lured to America into the shadows of a dangerous father figure.”
