Occoquan Fall Arts and Crafts Show 2017 This Weekend ICYMI
The 48th annual Occoquan Fall Arts and Crafts Show is this weekend in downtown. On-site parking will be scarce but shuttle buses will not.

OCCOQUAN, VA — Live music, plenty of food, kids activities and, of course, a wide variety of arts and crafts will be in full force this weekend in Occoquan. It's the 48th annual Occoquan Fall Arts and Craft show, set for 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, rain or shine. More than 300 contemporary and country crafters and artisans from Occoquan and throughout the United States will be on hand.
Admission is free but on-site parking will be scarce, and patrons probably should use several off-site lots with shuttle bus service. General Information
SHOW TIMES
The Arts and Crafts Show will be “Open to the Public” from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday. The event is RAIN OR SHINE. Visitors to the Arts and Crafts Show will park at designated lots and will be transported by shuttle into Town to attend the show. Even though the show does not officially open until 10:00 am, visitors usually begin arriving at 8:00 am The shuttle will begin at 7 am to transport vendors in from designated lots and will end approximately 1 hour after the show ends. The Town Hall bell will indicate the start and end of each day’s show, as well as any emergency situation including weather warnings during the show.
SECURITY
The Show will take place “RAIN OR SHINE.” Since this is an outdoor street show, you are responsible for your own shade, rain gear, chairs, set-up, tent weights, leveling devices, and any other items you may need as part of an outdoor event. You do not have to clear your site Saturday evening, but you are responsible for your own security. The Town will provide overnight security to patrol the streets; however, the Town is not responsible for securing individual tents or properties. The town police will be in contact with local weather authorities and notify the Events and Community Development Director of significant weather affecting the show.
BREAKFAST
Complimentary coffee and pastries will be served at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, and at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday in the Occoquan Town Hall, located at 314 Mill Street. We’d love to see you there!
RESTROOMS AND BREAKS
A variety of food vendors and portable restrooms will be located throughout the event area for your convenience. Show volunteers are identifiable with designated t-shirts or vests and will be available to assist you should you need to take a break. A booth sitter will watch your booth to prevent theft and inform customers you will return shortly; however, they will not conduct transactions on your behalf.
