After 49-years of service to our community, Mary Flores, a valued employee of the Prince William County Government, will be retiring.

Flores is a Prince William County native who started her career with the County Government in its Finance Department in 1972. In November 1999, Flores was promoted and transferred to the Human Resources Department, where she has worked for the past 22 years.

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors recently recognized and commended Flores for demonstrating the “highest level of character, professionalism, and lifelong selfless dedication to public service.”

Ms. Flores has provided outstanding services to Prince William County residents and her colleagues over the course of her notable career. The board wishes Ms. Flores many happy years in her retirement, which will start on Sept. 30.
