Statements Opens New Location

On Sunday Nov. 14 come and join Patch as we celebrate the grand opening of Statements Salon and Spa.

The event will showcase Statements newest location at the Harbor View center. The new salon will offer the same services as the Tackets Mill branch located in Lake Ridge, and will include a special menu list that will cater to brides. Owner Nikki Trowbridge expresses her desire for a locale that will come to be known as a full service bridal salon.

"I'd like for Statements Harbor View to be known as the couture bridal salon to go to," Trowbridge said. "There really isn't an outlet for bridal salons, it's more something that a client has to search around for to get the special services for bridal hair and makeup. Now, they can come to us and we'll have a full list of bridal services and prices."

The location at Harbor View is one that Trowbridge believes will be a great asset to the boating community, as the salon is right next to the marina.

"In the spring and summer, a lot of boaters will come here to hang out, and it will be nice for them to have a full service salon they can come to," Trowbridge said.

Statements at Harbor View offers salon services for hair and makeup as well as spa services including facials and waxing. And of course, a full bridal menu.

The grand opening event will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m and will showcase up to 30 vendors from the surrounding area, as well as food, dancing, hair and makeup demos, and contests to win prizes.
